Iiyama has released its ProLite E2607WS LCD monitor in Japan, bringing the following features to the mass market :-

• 25.5″ widescreen LCD display


• 1,920 x 1,200 WUXGA resolution


• 1,000:1 contrast ratio


• 2ms response time


• 300cd/m2 brightness

It will retail for approximately $500 thereabouts, and would form the perfect monitor for folks who tend to use their PC as a primary entertainment platform.
